The Freedom To

Thrive

About
Your Journey

The amazing thing is, we can all feel so much better than we do right now - even if we're already feeling quite well.

But if you're looking at this website, odds are that you haven't been feeling your best lately. That can change, and it's way less complicated than you may imagine.

We all have a body. And the wonderful thing about our bodies is that they are built with an inherent capacity and inclination towards healing.

At Equinimity Counseling, I will help you harness that inherent drive and capability so you can endure, process, and even grow from major life changes, traumatic events, and mental health challenges.

My approach is holistic and tailored to meet your specific needs, but is solidly grounded in Somatic Experiencing and Natural Lifemanship philosophies: Namely, that our bodies contain all we need to find wholeness and that deep healing happens in the context of secure, attuned relationships.

Navigate to the "modalities" section in the menu bar to learn more about the techniques and strategies I use to help you thrive.

Let's work together

Drawing on years of experience working closely with individuals deeply affected by trauma, I have developed a profound sense of awe for the strength of the human spirit in the face of great adversity.

As we journey together, I will guide you in reconnecting with your body's innate healing capacity, nurture your inherent resilience, and walk alongside you as you experience the monumental shift from surviving to thriving.

Whether you are seeking one-on-one counseling, the camaraderie of group therapy, or a transformative experience for your corporate team, my foremost commitment is to create a safe, empathic, and supportive space where we can best collaborate to achieve your goals.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of assisting a diverse range of clients. These include adults who have endured significant childhood trauma, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, incarcerated individuals, adults leaving high-control groups, veterans, members of law enforcement, first responders, and those within the LGBTQ+ community, among others.
